Treasure pieces

I will begin by stating this is my first blog post, I hope to inspire and motivate y’all navigating your early-late twenties. Many of the designs you will see refer to a specific time in my life where the world wasn’t such a kind place. I am confident today to share these pieces because in the crazy times we live in I found that expressing myself through, fashion, music and art made life more enjoyable and although I never thought it would lead to creating my brand everything aligned in a specific fashion to bring this little girl’s dream come alive. I networked and met photographers, designers, nonprofits and resources by attending pop ups, being active on my social platform and expressing myself and my vision.

The first piece I am going to talk about is the chakra bracelet, I developed a curiosity for the spiritual world when I was in my self love and self healing journey post a divorce and my self worth image was nonexistent. I was introduce to Yoga, Reiki and the meaning behind each chakra and how some of them may be blocked. I struggled with anxiety and depression during this time, an eating disorder and lack of motivation/drive. It is said that the chakra bracelet keep you grounded and balance. I wear mine everywhere I go as a reminder to breathe and to keep myself in check.

Another personal favorite is the Cupid Rhymes with Stupid tee design. This line actually comes from a song I wrote a few a years ago, following a period of time where my dating life was entertainment for my friends, they say what you put into the universe is what you receive…so I went around saying all men are fuckboys… and so I am convinced I met just about every version of them LOL all jokes aside.. I was emotionally unavailable and that’s who I was attracting. Sometimes you just gotta look at your reflection in the mirror and ask yourself what is this trying to teach me… anyway anti Valentine’s day crew this one is for you!
